Moosewala Murder: Two Shooters From Pune Among 8 Wanted Suspects

Chandigarh/Pune, 6th June 2022: There has been a big disclosure in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case. Punjab Police has identified eight sharpshooters who are residents of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Maharashtra. All the sharpshooters belong to the gangster Lawrence gang.

The Punjab Police suspects that it was they who shot and killed the Punjabi singer in Mansa on 29 May.

Meanwhile, the Punjab Police has arrested a man named ‘Kekda’ from Mansa who had done recce of Moosewala by becoming a fan. It was he who informed the sharpshooters about Moosewala’s movement. After the identification of the rest of the shooters, now the police of these four states have started looking for them. Those who provided them with weapons and vehicles, and a place to stay before the murder are also going to be taken into custody.

The accused named ‘Kekda’, who was caught by the Punjab Police, is a resident of Kaliyanwali, Sirsa. He along with a friend went to Moosewala’s house as a fan. He drank tea there and took a selfie after that. It was Kekda who told the killers that Moosewala was going in a Thar jeep without taking the gunman and the bulletproof Fortuner. After this, Moosewala was killed as soon as he reached a short distance.

8 Shooters involved in the Moosewala massacre

According to the Punjab Police, Tarantaran Jagroop Singh Roopa and Manpreet Mannu of Punjab, Priyavart Fauji and Manpreet Bholu of Sonepat, Haryana, Santosh Jadhav and Saurav Mahakal from Pune district in Maharashtra and Subhash Banuda of Sikar in Rajasthan, Harkamal Singh Ranu of Bathinda in Punjab were involved.

According to the police, all these had gathered on the Kotakpura highway three days before the murder of Moosewala. After this, the police are investigating where they stopped. The role of 2 more people is coming out behind this.

According to Pune Rural Police, both the accused from Maharashtra are already charged under the Maharashtra Control Of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) after the murder of Omkar Bankhele in Manchar, two years ago. Currently, both are on the run.

Santosh Jadhav, a resident of Pune, has his own gang, while Saurabh Mahakal, a resident of Manchar, is his aide.

Sachin Bishnoi, the mastermind of the murder

Sachin Bishnoi has been recognized by the Punjab Police as the mastermind of the Sidhu Moosewala murder case. Police say that Sachin planned the entire conspiracy to kill Moosewala. He hired all the sharpshooters to kill Moosewala. Sachin is the nephew of gangster Lawrence, imprisoned in Tihar Jail. He had confessed to the murder by calling a TV channel saying that he shot Moosewala. His name had cropped up in the murder of Vicky Middukheda, a close aide of Lawrence who was murdered in Mohali. The police had also examined his voice, in which it was confirmed that it was Sachin Bishnoi.

Punjab Police has prepared a hit list of a total of 10 sharpshooters These include 8 identified sharpshooters and 2 other gangsters. They have also been identified, but it has been kept secret.

Weapons were sent to the shooters from Jodhpur

According to sources, gangster Lawrence told the Special Cell of Delhi Police that the weapons for killing Moosewala were brought from Jodhpur in Rajasthan. These weapons were brought by three miscreants: Ranjit from Faridkot, Vijay and Raka from a village situated at the Punjab-Haryana border.

According to the sources, in April the Delhi police caught Mukesh aka Punit, Om aka Shakti and Harvinder. They told that Raka provided them with illegal weapons. They were associated with the Gogi gang. Police then arrested Rohit Moi who was running the gang. He told that they were given the weapons on the order of Lawrence then-Police took Lawrence on remand. According to the sources, Vijay brought the weapons from Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

Bolero used in the murder was brought from Rajasthan

In the investigation of the Punjab Police, it came to light that the Bolero vehicle was brought from Rajasthan for the attackers. Naseeb Khan had brought this Bolero and he gave it to Charanjit in Fatehabad. It was Charanjit who brought Bolero to Punjab in which Moosewala was reckoned.

After the incident, sharpshooters hiding in UP and Nepal

Punjab Police’s investigation revealed that the sharpshooters who killed Moosewala may be hiding in Uttar Pradesh and Nepal. The Muzaffarnagar of the north is on the police’s radar. Apart from this, Delhi Police has raided Nepal.

Moosewala was murdered on May 29 evening

Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was murdered on Sunday, 29 May at 5:30 pm in Jawaharke village, Mansa. About 40 rounds were fired at Moosewala, of these, 7 bullets were directly hit him. He had 19 wounds on his body and was killed within 15 minutes of being shot. Musewala, who was going by a Thar jeep was killed after being chased by Bolero and Corolla vehicles and at that time there was no gunman with him.
