Mumbai, May 18, 2020: The fourth phase of lockdown has started in the country from today, which will run till 31 May. Mumbai is the worst affected by the coronavirus in the country and Pune is also a hotspot in the state. These are some of the changes you can expect in Lockdown 4.0.

Outsiders barred from entering society

A similar option has been kept for Pune and other red zone districts. If a corona patient is found in a building, then instead of the entire area, that building or some part of the building will be sealed. Housing rules will also be included in this rule. Individuals selling and offering any type of service other than the medical facility will be strictly prohibited from entering the sealed society.

15 districts in the red zone and only 5 districts in green

During lockdown 4.0 all districts of Maharashtra are divided into three zones. There are 15 districts in the Red Zone, 16 districts in the Orange Zone and only 5 districts have been kept in the Green Zone. Today its official announcement is possible. According to a directive issued by the Maharashtra government, all activities and services have been started in the Green Zone, apart from the restrictions imposed by the Center with social distancing.

Private office closed in Red Zone

All offices in the Green Zone have also been started. Apart from this, medium and small industries have also been allowed in the green zone. However, similar tightening will continue in restricted areas and red zones.   The government empowered the local administration in the Red Zone to decide which shops to open and which not.
