Motherson announces JV with Hamakyorex Co. Ltd for Finished Vehicle Logistics in India
April 2, 2019, Noida: Samvardhana Motherson Group (SMG), through its arm Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (SAMIL), today announced its joint venture partnership with HAMAKYOREX CO. LTD – a company based in Hamamatsu, Japan for Finished Vehicle Logistics in India.
With the Indian automotive market expected to experience increased offering of more advanced vehicles, Hamakyorex found it the right time to enter India and grow the land transportation business of finished vehicles in India. SAMIL, forming part of Samvardhana Motherson Group is a major player in the Indian market as an Auto Components manufacturer and will be an ideal partner to enhance the roll out of this business.
The collaboration will thus be a natural synergistic business for both the partners and will offer to deliver a professional, safer and technology driven solution to the OEMs.
