Movie Theatres, Libraries May Reopen In Pune; Increase In Business Hours Of Restaurants, Shops Expected

Pune, 11th June 2021: Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar is in Pune to review the Coronavirus disease (COVID19) situation in the Pune district. A meeting is being held at the Council Hall.

According to officials, as the COVID positivity rate is going down more relaxations in lockdown measures are expected in Pune city.

Following decisions are expected today:

– Shops in Pune city may remain open till 6 pm
– Restaurants, hotels may remain open till 10 pm
– Movie Theater may with 50 per cent seating capacity
– Study Rooms, libraries may start with 50 per cent seating capacity
