Pune, 28th March 2024: To facilitate the timely payment of current and overdue electricity bills, Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has announced that its official electricity bill payment centres in Pune, Kolhapur, Sangli, Satara, and Solapur districts will remain open during office hours on public holidays for three consecutive days from Friday, March 29th, to Sunday, March 31st.

Amidst the ongoing drive to disconnect the power supply to defaulting customers, MSEDCL is emphasizing the importance of settling arrears and current electricity bills promptly. This initiative aims to provide customers with an opportunity to clear their dues and avoid disconnection. MSEDCL, facing financial challenges, is enforcing disconnection regulations without exception based on outstanding amounts.

MSEDCL has urged customers to settle their outstanding electricity bills immediately to prevent inconvenience and the imposition of reconnection fees as per regulations.

Additionally, customers have the option of making online payments for current and overdue electricity bills through the official MSEDCL website (www.mahadiscom.in) and the MSEDCL mobile app. Furthermore, low-pressure customers with bills exceeding Rs. 5000 can avail themselves of the option to pay via RTGS or NEFT. Detailed instructions for these payment methods can be found on the electricity bills of respective customers.
