‘Mukula’ to feature performances of budding artists on Children’s Day

Pune, November 11 : Punekars will get a chance to see the performances by budding artists on the Children’s Day at a program titled ‘Mukula’ on November 14 at Balshikshan Mandir Auditorium from 5.30 PM. The entry to the program is free on a first come first serve basis.

 

Presented by the Kalavardhini Charitable Trust, ‘Mukula’ will feature performances by children in the age group of 9-19 years. The program will feature a musical ensemble of students of table player and music composer Uday Ramdas.

 

Budding Bharatnatyam dancer Ashlesha Shinde, disciple of Asha Sunilkumar and Kathak dancer Santeri Abhyankar, disciple of Kathak exponent Shama Bhate, will also perform at the special event.

 

The other features are solo tabla performance by Gandhar Nisal, a disciple of Nilesh Randive and performance by Pandit Shounak Abhisheki’s son and disciple vocalist Abhed Abhisheki. Eminent singer Anjali Marathe and Bharatnatyam Guru Dr. Sucheta Bhide-Chapekhar will grace the event.
