Pune, 19th November 2025: In the Amadea company’s Mundhwa land deal case, in which Parth Pawar—son of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar—is a director, Pune Police recorded the statement of Sheetal Tejwani. Police said scrutiny of documents sought from various government departments is underway, and Tejwani may be called again if required. A notice has also been issued to Digvijay Patil, who has not yet appeared to record his statement, Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar said.

“Tejwani’s statement has been recorded and is currently under review. Documents have been sought from several government departments, and their scrutiny is ongoing. If necessary, she will be called again. A notice has also been issued to Digvijay Patil, but he has not yet appeared to record his statement,” Commissioner Amitesh Kumar said.

Amadea, a company linked to Parth Pawar, had allegedly purchased 40 acres of land in Mundhwa near Koregaon Park. A case in this matter is registered at Bavdhan Police Station under the Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissionerate. However, in the separate Bopodi land case registered at Khadak Police Station, Pune Police had earlier clarified that Sheetal Tejwani and Amadea are not associated with that offence. The Bopodi land scam case has now been transferred from Khadak Police Station to the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) for further investigation.

275 Persons Linked to Mundhwa Land Case
The Mundhwa land case involves 275 individuals. The land was transferred to Sheetal Tejwani through a power of attorney executed by the concerned parties. The investigation is examining whether the 275 individuals (Mahar Watan Land holders) received any compensation and how they were granted rights over the land. Accordingly, they have been summoned for questioning.

On Monday, around 10–12 individuals appeared before the EOW, while others said they would record their statements later.
