National Summit on Agricultural Exports: Advance Trends, New Initiatives and Opportunities in Agriculture-Horticulture Export

Pune, January 13, 2020: MCCIA is one of the few Chambers of Commerce in India that has Agriculture as a separate vertical. This wing works proactively to bring professionalism into Agriculture and helps develop a network between Farmers, Food Processing Industries and High-tech Agriculture. The Government of India is making all efforts to promote Agricultural Exports. Keeping this in mind, Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture has organized the National Summit on Agriculture Export. This summit will give an avenue to exporters already in the market as well as to new and enthusiastic firms likely to be engaged in Export business especially for Agriculture Commodities.
There will be deliberations on Fresh Fruits, Vegetables and Flowers grown in Maharashtra State. Topics like Opportunities and Challenges in Agricultural Exports, Advance Infrastructure for Post Harvest Handling and Storage, Plant Quarantine Regulation of Export, Advance Certification, Logistic Support, SOPs, Quarantine Regulations of Major Importing Countries, Pesticides Residue Norms, MRLs, Latest Packaging Technologies, Central and State Government initiatives, Geographical Indications, Pest Free Area Certification, Exhibition for Service Providers, etc. will be covered.
MCCIA has invited the Department of Agriculture, National Horticulture Mission, APEDA, Ministry of Commerce, Maharashtra State Agriculture Board and NABARD as partners. MCCIA has also arranged for an Exhibition on Agriculture Exports.
On the occasion of this Summit, we are publishing a souvenir which carries articles from experts in International Trade. This booklet will give a glimpse of the current scenario of international trade for exporters and importers with a focus on Agriculture Commodities.
This seminar will be relevant for Agriculture and Merchant Exporters, Agriculture Entrepreneurs, Innovative and Progressive Farmers, Export Houses, Government and Agriculture Extension Officials, Government Bodies and all related Stakeholders.
