“In the season of spring, beautiful yellow flowers bloom everywhere which makes the soul happy and delighted. But spring can’t last forever, isn’t it? Just after the spring gets over, not only us but even the environment is scorched in the heat of the sun. The rain makes one romantic, but sometimes even deluges come in this season. And, in winter, fog covers the earth.

If we fill our soul with so much happiness that there’s spring inside it, then despite the disturbances and upheavals outside, the heart will never lose hope and wade through all the streams of grief with a smile.” These are the emotions which have been brought forward in the fifty poems of Neelam Saxena Chandra in her poetry collection “Kai Basant Dekhe Hain Maine”.

In the online program, Dr Mridula Tandon introduced all the renowned personalities as well as Neelam, which was followed by a rendition of three poems by Neelam. Tikam Shekhawat also read a few stanzas of his favourite poems from the book and appreciated the writings of Neelam. Sushil Bharti analysed the writing of Neelam in minute details. Pratap Somwanshi, Khalid Alvi and Laxmi Shankar Bajpai also threw light on the various aspects of poetry writing and praised the optimism which is exhibited in Neelam’s poems. All guests were of the opinion that the poems are pieces of Neelam’s inside journey. The program ended with a vote of thanks.
