Pune: Newly Born Swallows Gold Ring
Pune, July 15, 2021: A newly born baby swallowed the gold ring sending the doctors and parents into frenzy. It happened so that a baby was born and the relatives made a queue to see. Suddenly, the mother of the baby realised that the gold ring of one of the relatives was missing.
She told this to her husband and the doctor present there. Taking the steps immediately, the baby and the mother was shifted to Ruby Hall clinic where Gastroenterologist and endoscopist Dr Dhananjay Shinde decided to conduct surgery on the baby.
If wasn’t removed, the ring would have proved fatal to the baby. Dr Shinde with the help from Dr Nandini Londhe and other doctors successfully carried out the surgery. Currently, the baby and the mother are recuperating at the hospital.
