NIA FILES CHARGESHEET AGAINST THREE MORE ACCUSED IN RAJASTHAN PFI CONSPIRACY CASE

New Delhi, 30th January 2024: Further tightening its noose around the unlawful and anti-national activities of the Popular Front of India (PFI), the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a Charge-sheet against three accused persons namely, Vajid Ali under sections 120B, 153 A of IPC and sections 13, 18 and 18A of the UA(P) Act, accused Mubarik Ali under sections 120B, 153A of IPC, sections 13, 17, 18, 18A and 18B of the UA(P) Act and section 4/25(1B)(b) of Arms Act and against accused Shamsher Khan under sections 120B, 153 A of IPC and sections 13, 18, and 18A of the UA(P) Act respectively in the Rajasthan PFI case relating to the banned outfit’s conspiracy to radicalize Muslim youth and to provide them with weapons training for fighting against the people who don’t support the PFI’s version of Islam as well as against Government of India.

Accused Vajid Ali, Mubarik Ali and Shamsher Khan have conspired with other co-accused persons to provide training in handling and use of weapons to gullible Muslims to commit violent acts. Vajid Ali, Mubarik Ali and Shamsher Khan have been found to be involved in organizing Arms Training camps for the PFI to help achieve the aim of establishing an Islamic rule in India by 2047. All the above said three accused persons have exploited the false narrative created by their co-accused and provided training of weapons to gullible youth in order to induce and promote acts of ‘selective violence’ against persons of other communities.

Earlier, the NIA has filed a Charge sheet against accused persons namely Mohd. Asif, Sadiq Sarraf and Mohd. Sohail under sections 120B, 153A of IPC and sections 13, 17, 18, 18A & 18B of the UA(P) Act.

The case was initially registered as RC-41/2022/NIA/DLI at NIA Hqrs. New Delhi under section 120B, 153A of IPC and section 13 and 18 of the UA(P) Act.
