Nine members of NCP corporator’s family test positive for Covid-19

Pune, July 6, 2020: Corporator of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Pune city’s former mayor Vaishali Bankar’s family members have tested positive for Covid-19. Vaishali and her husband Sunil Bankar both have tested negative for the virus.
Sunil’s brother, mother, cousins and their grandchildren tested positive for Covid-19. Their reports arrived on Sunday evening. They are admitted in Pune Municipal Corporation’s COVID Care Centre (CCC) in Yeolewadi.
Vaishali and Sunil, who is an ex-corporator, are helping people in need from their ward and they are also monitoring the nearby healthcare facilities. They distributed homoeopathy medicine named Arsenic-30 to the people in their area. This medicine is known to be effective in increasing immunity which helps in battling Covid-19.
Vaishali and Sunil often had visitors who came to their office to get their issues resolved. Their family had also attended the final rites of many people from their locality.
