NIPM Western Region Conference at Pune Creates Significant Ripples In Fraternity

Pune, 23rd February 2024: The NIPM Western Region Conference held on February 17th at the Tip Top International Hotel in Pune created significant ripples within the HR community in Maharashtra and at the national level. The conference theme, “Transforming Business Through Agile HR Practices,” was assigned by the Central Committee of NIPM to the NIPM Pimpri Chinchwad Chakan Chapter for organization. With over 1000 participants , including business leaders, industry representatives, veterans from the HR fraternity, and mid-level to senior HR professionals, the conference witnessed a substantial turnout.

Dignitaries from NIPM including Dr. MH Raja, the National President of NIPM; Vishvesh Kulkarni, Former National President of NIPM and Chief Guest; Navnath Suryavanshi, Chairman of NIPM Pimpri Chinchwad Chakan Chapter; Abhay Khursale, General Secretary; Prashant Kore; Narendra Patil, Divisional Vice President; Amol Kagwade, National Committee Member; Satish Karanjkar, Conference Chairman; Baswaraju, National General Secretary; Shri Krishna Gandhe, Conference Coordinator were amongst the key pillars of the event.

Dr. MH Raja, in his capacity as NIPM National President, lauded the efforts of the NIPM PCC chapter for successfully organizing the conference. He expressed contentment with the conference’s execution and the positive feedback it received. NIPM PCC President Navnath Suryavanshi expressed gratitude to the delegates and sponsors, acknowledging the committee’s diligent efforts in upholding the trust placed by the National Committee in the Pimpri Chinchwad Chakan Chapter. Chief Guest Vishvesh Kulkarni commended the chapter for its vibrant execution and impressive action in conducting the western region conference in a short span.

Conference Chairman Satish Karanjkar provided insights into the conference’s organization and the various panel discussions scheduled during the event. Amol Kagawade, Founder Chairman of NIPM PCC and National Committee member, shed light on the chapter’s inception and extended best wishes for its future endeavors.

The conference commenced with a session led by Rajeshwar Tripathi, Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) of Mahindra & Mahindra. Renowned business leaders and HR experts participated in key panel discussions, such as “Transforming HR Leadership – Shaping Tomorrow’s Today,” moderated by Sarfaraz Maner, GM HR from Tata Motors.

In another session, titled “Navigating the Future of HR in the Digital Age,” Baliram Mutgekar, Vice President at BNY Million India, assumed the role of moderator. The discussion delved into the burgeoning opportunities for HR professionals in the digital era. Following this, Vinod Bidwaik, CHRO at Sakal Media Group, took charge of moderating the ‘CHRO Panel Discussion.’ The panel featured Dr. Santosh Bhave from Bharat Forge, Santanu Ghoshal from Schaeffler, Dr. Ujjal Bhattacharjee from Vesuvious, and Akash Sangole from Panasonic, who contributed their insights and perspectives to the discussion.

The event was graced by the presence of dignitaries such as Shailendra Pol, Additional Labor Commissioner; Vijay Nair from Mahindra & Mahindra, Bhai Jagtap, MLC & renowned Union Leader; Tushar Acharya (IT Entrepreneur); and industry veterans Sudheer Daftardaar, Balasaheb Jadhav, Amit Ekbote, Vishwanath Yerva, Ajit Kankriya, along with Amruta Tendulkar, NIPM National Treasurer, and Dr. Priyanka Mishra from Balaji Institutes.

The efforts of the Conference Committee, including Amol Kagwade, Navnath Suryavanshi, Abhay Khursale, Pradeep Manekar, Kishore Shinde, Satish Pawar, Chetan Musale, Rahul Nimbalkar, Madhukar Suryavanshi, Ramesh Bagal, Savitri Gosal, Arjun Mane, Shital Ingle, Shwetha, and former chairman Tushar Tongale, were applauded by senior HR leaders and delegates. Savitha Shetty anchored and moderated the day-long event, while seasoned HR professional Abhay Khursale extended gratitude to all participants.
