Nitesh Rane’s Wife’s Car Hit By Truck On Pune-Mumbai Expressway; Driver Detained
Lonavala, 5th September 2022: A car belonging to the Rane family met with a minor accident at the Urse toll plaza on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway today evening. Nitesh Rane’s wife, children and relatives were in this car. This information has been given by the Pimpri-Chinchwad Police.
The accident took place at around 5:30 pm. The accident took place while coming from Mumbai to Pune. According to the police, Nitesh Rane’s wife and children were coming towards Pune from Khopoli. Around 5:30 pm, the car in which the Rane family was traveling stopped in the queue to pay the toll at the Urse toll booth on the Pune-Mumbai expressway. A truck that stopped behind to pay the toll slightly hit the car of the Rane family. There is minor damage to the car.
The Pimpri-Chinchwad police have detained the truck driver in this case. He is said to be from Karnataka. Fortunately, no one was injured in this incident. Police are further investigating the case.
