No ‘overtime income’ for PCMC employees

Pimpri – Shravan Hardikar, the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) commissioner, has issued a diktat that no employee will work after office hours. The order was issued after complaints that many employees have made it a habit of staying in office in the name of overtime and then doing ‘work’ of only builders and businessmen.

Officials said that PCMC office had become ‘adda’ of taking bribe as there used to be few people in office after 6 pm. The new order is set to ‘hurt’ extra income of several employees.
