Pune, 31 July 2021: Amidst demand for relaxation in restrictions from various quarters, today Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) issued a revised order stating that the current lockdown measures will continue.
In his order PMC Commissioner Vikram Kumar stated that regular classes in schools and colleges will remain closed till further notice. However, online classes will be allowed.
This order will be applicable to Pune cantonment board and Khadki cantonment board, the order states.
No relaxations in #Pune. In what reeks of pure political vendetta the #MVA has decided not to relax restrictions on Shops & businesses in the City.
Businesses, lives & livelihoods are being endangered in a city that has avg. positivity rate hovering at 4% for past 8 weeks. 1/6— Siddharth Shirole (Modi ka Parivar) (@SidShirole) July 30, 2021
