Nothing Launches Phone (3a) Series in India with Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 and Enhanced Camera Features
Pune, 5th March 2025: Nothing has launched its latest Phone (3a) series in India, comprising the Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro models. The devices feature an upgraded glass back, an IP64 rating, and run on the Essential Space UI based on Nothing OS 3.1 (Android 15). The Phone (3a) is priced at ₹22,999, while the Pro variant starts at ₹27,999. Sales will commence on March 11 for the Phone (3a) and March 15 for the Pro model.
Both smartphones are powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset and sport a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The devices are equipped with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 50W fast charging. Nothing has committed to providing three years of Android updates for the series.
The camera system on the Phone (3a) series includes a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP ultrawide camera. The Pro variant offers an additional 50 MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and 6x in-sensor zoom capabilities. The series also introduces the TrueLens Engine 3.0, bringing AI-driven features such as AI tone mapping and scene detection for enhanced photography.
Akis Evangelidis, Co-founder of Nothing, commented on the launch, stating that smartphones had become monotonous before Nothing entered the market. He also criticized other manufacturers for their confusion over integrating AI into their devices.
