NRI Passenger Unable to Get Off Vande Bharat at Pune, Railway Staff Arrange Safe Deboarding at Karjat

Pune, 31st August 2026: Railway staff assisted an NRI passenger who was unable to alight from Train No. 22226 Vande Bharat Express at Pune, arranging for her to safely deboard at Karjat station.

The passenger, identified as Manijes Pavri, an NRI from Canada, could not get off the train when it arrived at Pune. After railway staff were informed about the situation, arrangements were made for her to deboard at Karjat.

The Vande Bharat Express was given an additional halt at Karjat (KJT), where it arrived at Platform No. 2 at 10:20 am. Railway staff assisted Pavri in safely deboarding the train, which departed at 10:23 am.

Following this, railway personnel also helped her board Train No. 11301 for her return journey to Pune.
