NTA Announces JEE Main 2025 Results: Over 12.5 Lakh Students Appeared, 14 Secure a Perfect 100

Pune, 11th February 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the much-awaited results for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 Session 1 for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) today. The examination was conducted on January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29, 2025, across 618 centers in 304 cities, including 15 cities outside India.

Exam Participation and Demographics

A total of 13,11,544 candidates registered for the exam, with 12,58,136 appearing, resulting in a high attendance rate of 95.93%. The examination was conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode in 13 languages, catering to a diverse linguistic population.

The NTA has released a comprehensive list of toppers, recognizing outstanding performance across various categories:

Overall Toppers: 14 candidates achieved a perfect NTA score of 100 in Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech).
State-wise Toppers: The list includes state-wise toppers and their NTA scores, highlighting top performers from different regions.
Category-wise Toppers: Toppers for General, Gen-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PwBD categories have been announced, acknowledging excellence across diverse backgrounds.

Gender-wise Toppers: Toppers for both Male and Female categories have been declared, showcasing top achievers in each gender.

Unfair Means: The NTA score of 39 candidates has been withheld due to their involvement in unfair means practices.
NTA Score Calculation: The NTA has provided a detailed explanation of the NTA score calculation methodology, which involves normalizing scores across multi-session papers based on relative performance.

Measures for Smooth Conduct of Exams: The NTA has outlined various measures implemented to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the exams, including a central control room, city coordinators, observers, flying squads, CCTV surveillance, AI-based video analytics, and jammers.
