Nutrifresh grows revenue 51% to Rs 219 crore; targets Rs 400 crore in FY27
Pune, 15th October 2026: Nutrifresh, India’s leading integrated Agriculture and Food company, has reported revenue of ₹219.3 crore in FY26. This is a 51% rise over ₹145.2 crore in FY25. The company expects revenue to reach ₹400 crore in FY27, as 105 acres of farms near Pune move into production, in addition to the 83 operational acres. Nutrifresh has been profitable every year since it was incorporated in 2019, a rarity in India’s Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) ecosystem.
Over the past 12 months, the company and Rural Enhancers Group signed a 1,000-acre smart-agriculture MoU with the Government of Maharashtra in FY26 to scale technology-led farming in the state. It also secured a ₹90 crore first tranche from the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), part of a proposed ₹400 crore investment to expand its CEA infrastructure. Its land bank has grown by 105 acres at Warwadi and Pisavare near Pune, now under construction, adding to the 83 acres it already farms.
Nutrifresh now supplies more than 100 high-volume B2B customers across hotels, restaurants, modern retail, and quick commerce. These include Swiggy, Zepto, Flipkart Minutes, BigBasket, Reliance Fresh, Nature’s Basket, IHCL, and Taj SATS. Its produce reaches buyers in 15 Indian states as well as the UAE, the Maldives and Singapore. The company employs over 650 people, and women make up 60% of its workforce, 80% at the farm level and over 43% of leadership roles.
Sanket Mehta, Co-founder, CEO & Whole-Time Director, Nutrifresh, said, “Nutrifresh’s growing business is proof that Controlled Environment Agriculture can work at scale in India and work profitably. We grow close to the cities we serve, sell to businesses rather than chase consumers, and invest only in the technology the crop needs. That is why we have achieved consistent growth over the years and will continue to do so. Our customers, from quick commerce platforms to hotel chains, want residue-free produce every day of the year, and we are building the capacity to give it to them.”
For FY27, Nutrifresh expects revenue of ₹400 crore and will roughly triple the company’s productive footprint. The company is also preparing for major geographical expansion across southern India.
Alongside its own farms, Nutrifresh is scaling its Joint Farming operations, which partners with farmers on their own land to add capacity without heavy capital outlay. The long-term aim is to support more than 25,000 farmers.
Ganesh Nikam, Co-founder, CFO & Whole-Time Director, Nutrifresh, said, “Our growth has been funded with discipline. We turn barren and low-fertility land into productive farms, and every acquisition goes through board-level approval. With backing from the DFC, Neev Fund, Florintree Advisors and Green Frontier Capital and our partnership with the Maharashtra government, we have the capital and the land to deliver our 2027 plan. Just as important, Joint Farming lets thousands of farmers share in that growth.”
