Besides proposed ramp there will be a two-way road on the Pashan side, necessitating a road widening plan of 2.5 to 5 meters. During the site visit, PMRDA officials presented a proposal to the Progressive Education Society’s Deputy Secretary, Dr. Nivedita Ekbote, to secure a land parcel for the project.

Discussions focused on finalizing compensation for the land acquisition, which PMRDA has committed to organizing by the evening of January 9, 2025. This step is critical for ensuring timely handover of the land by Modern College to PMRDA, enabling the project’s progress.

Speaking to Punekar News, PMRDA Commissioner Yogesh Mhase emphasized the significance of the ramp in resolving traffic congestion in the area. PMC Commissioner Rajendra Bhosle and Dr. Nivedita Ekbote also expressed optimism about the collaborative approach to resolve logistical challenges swiftly.
