Online Education System Started At Pune University
Pune, November 14, 2020: ‘Content Express Delivery’, online system is the best way to develop the educational e-content. And this will surely revolutionize the education’, said University Grants Commission (UGC) vice-chairman Bhushan Patwardhan.
He was speaking while inaugurating the ‘Online Content Express Delivery’, developed and created by Savitribai Phule Pune University ‘e-content development and learning innovation’. “Pandemic has taught us to find a solution to our problem right here in our society. And this online delivery is the best example of it”, emphasized Patwardhan.
“Earlier we used to depend and think that whatever comes from Western countries is the right and best solution. But now we are trying how can we gain more scientific and student-centred education”, Patwardhan said.
SPPU vice-chancellor Nitin Karmalkar said, “this online delivery content is currently used by 175 colleges. The varsity has given the freedom to colleges to create their own content. Through this 1,000 colleges can be connected.”
