Online token system for liquor purchase launched in Pune

Pune, May 12, 2020: To avoid the rush and long queue at the wine shops, the Maharashtra excise department has launched e -token system. This facility is available on www.mahaexcise.com from 11 May 2020.
This is the first and unique system run by the excise department to avoid the crowds at shops. Earlier it was few shop owners have initiated this.
How to Buy Online Token
Customers have to visit www.mahaexcise.com to get token. Customer needs to get registered by providing details of mobile no., name, district and pin code.
After submitting these personal details customer will get the list of wine shops operating in the pin code submitted. After selecting the shop customer can choose a specific time and date to visit the store to buy liquor.
After providing these details customers will get the E- token to purchase liquor.
