OTT Release Movie: Mahesh Babu’s ‘Guntur Kaaram’ Now Watch On Netflix In Hindi Among 4 Languages
Pune, 12th February 2024: Mahesh Babu’s latest film, ‘Guntur Kaaram,’ which hit theaters on Sankranti, struggled to make a mark at the box office. However, within a month of its release, the movie has found a new life on the OTT platform, Netflix, including its Hindi version.
Directed by the renowned Trivikram Srinivas, ‘Guntur Karam’ features Mahesh Babu and Shreya in lead roles. Despite facing tough competition from other releases like ‘Hanuman,’ ‘Saindhav,’ and ‘Na Sami Ranga,’ the film fell short of expectations at the box office.
Netflix India, in anticipation of the film’s digital release, shared a new trailer on Thursday. The excitement among fans is palpable, especially as the movie is available in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. The hashtag #GunturKaaramOnNetflix is already gaining traction on social media.
Just a few days ago, Netflix India teased the impending release with a post saying, “Things are heating up because Rowdy Rama is here and setting the place on fire. ‘Guntur Karam’ arrives on Netflix on February 9th in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. #GunturKaaramOnNetflix.” The film is set to be released on the platform in the wee hours of the night.
Following ‘Athadu’ and ‘Khaleja,’ ‘Guntur Kaaram’ marks the third collaboration between Trivikram and Mahesh Babu. While the film received mixed reviews upon its theatrical release, it gradually gained momentum, achieving commendable earnings of 46 crores at the box office.
Naga Vamsi, addressing the press, emphasized the film’s success in Andhra Pradesh compared to Telangana and overseas markets. ‘Guntur Kaaram’ narrates the story of Mahesh as Rama, a character living away from his estranged mother. When his political grandfather urges him to sever all ties, Rama rebels to uncover the truth behind their separation two decades ago.
