Over 97,000 Students Register for Class 11 Admissions in Pune Division; Pune District Tops the List
Pune, 29th May 2025: A total of 97,173 students have registered for the online Class 11 admission process in the Pune division as of Wednesday, with Pune district accounting for the highest number of applicants — 60,204 students. The deadline to submit applications for the first admission round is June 3.
The information was shared by Sunanda Wakhare, Deputy Director of Education for the Pune division. This year, the education department has implemented a fully online admission process for Class 11 across the division.
Admissions will be conducted in 1,538 junior colleges within the division. The registration process began on May 26, and as per the official schedule released by the education department, students can fill out the online forms for the first regular round until 6 PM on June 3.
Breakdown of district-wise registrations as of Tuesday includes:
-Pune district: 60,204 students
-Ahmednagar district: 22,364 students
-Solapur district: 14,605 students
Admission Schedule:
-Provisional Merit List for First Round: June 5
-Final Merit List: June 8
-Admissions under Zero Round Quota: June 9 to 11
-First Centralized Admission Round: June 11 to 18
The education department has urged students and parents to adhere to the timelines to ensure a smooth and timely admission process.
