PAN information of many Indians leaked, loan disbursed in the name of people, this celebrity was also cheated
New Delhi, 22nd February 2022: Online frauds have become common these days. Along with common people, Bollywood stars are also falling prey to this. The permanent account number (PAN) information of many Indians has been leaked through Indiabulls-owned fintech platform Dhani App.
In the last few days, many such big names have come to the fore with whom fraudsters cheated, fraudsters took loans using PAN details. Actress Sunny Leone, journalist Aditya Kalra shared information on Twitter about such unaccounted loans in their names that it was said that scamsters took loans by misusing their PAN details.
On Dhani App, the user has to provide details of PAN and address proof for safe loan. In many cases, it was seen that PAN card holders checked their CIBIL history and found that loan was taken by some unknown person using PAN details without their knowledge. Kalra recently posted on Twitter, ‘Shocking disclosure in my credit report. Loan disbursed by IVL Finance with my PAN number and name, address in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. I have no idea. How can a loan be given in my name and PAN?
Sunny Leone also cheated
Bollywood actress Sunny Leone also complained of identity theft through fintech platform Dhani. Some person took a loan of 2000 rupees by misusing the PAN card of actress Sunny Leone. Sunny Leone has claimed that due to this her credit score has also been affected. Several users tagging RBI, Ministry of Finance and other officials said that they were victims of major identity theft through Dhani App.
