PCMC: 561 New Covid Positive Cases, 09 Deaths Today
Pimpri, 8 October, 2020: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that 561 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas today. Also, 713 people got discharged from hospitals while 09 people died today.
According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 82,503 out of which 76,763 have recovered while 1405 have died. 2761 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 436 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC hospitals, while 542 have died and 5460 have been cured.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 6,835,655 across the country. Out of this, 58,27,704 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 105,526 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 902,425 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
