PCMC: 57 new COVID cases reported today, 21 discharged

Pimpri, June 21, 2020: Till 7 pm, a total of 57 new Coronavirus positive patients were reported from different parts of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC). Also, 21 people were discharged from hospitals after being cured.

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 1772 out of which 1059 have been cured while 30 have died. 683 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 72 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in YCM hospital in Pimpri. Till now 23 non-PCMC residents have died while 111 have been cured. Out of total active cases, there are 510 Asymptomatic Positive patients, 149 are Symptomatic Positive Patients and 24 Critical Patients.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 410460 across the country. Out of this, 227755 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 13254 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 169451 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
