PCMC: 684 New COVID Cases, 16 Deaths Reported Today

Pimpri, 29 September 2020: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that 684 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas today. Also, 806 people got discharged from hospitals while 16 people died today.

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 77,317 out of which 69,061 have recovered while 1306 have died. 4683 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 893 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC hospitals, while 484 have died and 4777 have been cured.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 6,145,291 across the country. Out of this, 5,101,397 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 96,318 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 947,576 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
