PCMC: RTE admission process begins, deadline to apply is March 21
Pimpri, 3 March 2021: The process for application under the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 began on Wednesday. The last date to apply is March 21.
As many as 10 help centers have been established to guide and help parents while filling the application under RTE. Every year under RTE 25% of seats is kept vacant in the school. The process for online registration of the schools under RTE has been completed. This year 179 schools were eligible for admissions under RTE.
While 3323 seats have been available across Pimpri Chinchwad for admissions under RTE. As many as 186 schools had registered for the process.
Parents face various difficulties while filling the forms. At times the parents are intellectually unequipped and thus could not fill the form. For such parents, help desks have been opened. The forms can be filled till March 21.
