PCMC: Water supply disrupted today evening, tomorrow in Pimpri Chinchwad

Pimpri, June 3, 2020: The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) water supply department has issued a notice stating that water supply will be disrupted today evening and tomorrow morning in the city.

According to PCMC, around 1.50 pm today, due to the breakdown of MSEDCL’s feeder, the power supply at Ravet’s water treatment plant has been cut off. Therefore, water supply in the city will be disrupted this evening as well as tomorrow morning.

The repair work is underway through MSEDCL and the department will try to restore the water supply once the power supply is restored.

However, the citizens should take note of this and co-operate with the corporation by using the available water judiciously, appealed PCMC.

Due to Cyclone Nisarga, there are heavy rains and winds in several areas of PCMC and Pune. In many places, trees have fallen and damaged vehicles also. There is no electricity supply in several localities since noon. The weather department has forecast heavy rain till June 6.
