PDFA League: Pune Warriors Ride On Three Hattricks, Score 12
Pune, 1st June 2022: Pune Warriors were powered by three hat- trick efforts as they thumped Premier F A 12-0 in the Women’s League in the PDFA League 2021-22, here on Wednesday.
At the SSPMS ground, Puneri Warriors had Nilisha Sanket (4th, 38th, 57th), (Rashi Verma 15th, 49th, 56th) and Koyel Majumdar (35th, 39th, 48th, 59th) help themselves to individual highs to win handsomely.
Jiannna Muthu (6th) and Kirti Gosavi (22st) completed the tally in the Pool-C encounter.
Later, in Pool-A Aspire F.C continued their unbeaten run recording a 5-9 win over Diego Juniors. A brace each by Vaishnavi Barate (2nd, 38th), Niharika Patil (23rd, 26th) and a goal by Sejal Dhanawade 10th) was enough for Aspire F.C to complete the victory.
In another encounter, Snigmay F.C rode on Alison Wintle (50th) to get past Step Over F.A 1-0 to earn full points in a Pool-C game.
