Pune, 5th November 2021: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) supremo Sharad Pawar today spoke about reducing petrol, diesel prices in Maharashtra.

“The state government will provide relief to the people. However, the central government must give the state’s GST share immediately. It will be possible to take a decision on petrol, diesel prices after that”, Pawar said. He was speaking to journalists in Baramati.

After the central government cut excise duty on petrol by Rs 5 and on diesel by Rs 10, many BJP ruled states have started slashing rates of fuel. However, the Maharashtra government is yet to give relief on its part.
