Pimpri Chinchwad: 62 fresh COVID patients in PCMC, 68 discharged today
Pimpri, June 18, 2020: Till 8:30 pm, a total of 62 new Coronavirus positive patients were reported from different parts of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) today. Also, 68 people were discharged from hospitals after being cured. The number of corona patients in Pimpri-Chinchwad has been increasing rapidly in the last few days.
The new patients include 16 from Kalewadi, 16 from Chinchwad, 10 from Pimpri, 4 from Akurdi, 4 from Moshi, 1 from Bhosari, 3 from Dapodi, 2 from Thergaon, 2 from Chikhali, 1 from New Sangvi, 1 from Pimple Nilakh, 1 from Pimple Saudagar, 1 from Kasarwadi .
Across Maharashtra, there were 2701 new COVID19 cases today taking the total number of cases to 120,504 . Also, 100 people died today while 1672 got discharge from hospitals after being cured. There are still 53,901 active cases. The total death toll stands at 5751, while 60,838 patients have been discharged till date, according to Maharashtra Health Department.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 366,946 across the country. Out of this, 194,324 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 12,237 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 160,384 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
