Pimpri Chinchwad: PCNTDA To Build 4,883 Flats For Low Income And Economically Weaker Section Groups

Pimpri Chinchwad, 26 February 2021: Pimpri Chinchwad New Town Development Authority (PCNTDA) has commenced construction of a housing project of 4,883 flats at Peth No. 12. In this project, 3,317 flats will be made available for the economically weaker group and 1,566 flats for the low-income group. The flats will be available for the economically weaker group at a cost of Rs 7 lakh 40 thousand and for the low-income group at a cost of Rs 32 lakh, said Bansi Gawli, chief executive officer of the authority.

The housing project has been registered under RERA and the registration certificate from RERA has been received on 24th September 2020. MHADA’s online lottery software will be used for the sale of these flats. A committee of IT and administration experts has been set up to monitor the lottery process.

The project will provide affordable flats in the central part of Pimpri Chinchwad Industrial City. The flats will have 29.55 sq metre carpet area for the economically weaker group and 59.27 sq metre for the low-income group.

The project will come up near Tata Motors and Spine Road, near the International Exhibition Center, and will house a total of 45 11-storey buildings. Strong and fast construction using earthquake-proof construction and a modern alluvial form system will be conducted. Schools, hospitals, vegetable markets, shopping complexes, primary school facilities are near the project.

The deadline for registration and online payment for an online application as well as challan acceptance through NEFT / RTGS will be till March 30, 2021, at 11.59 pm. The draft list of accepted applications for the draw will be published by 5 pm on April 5, 2021, and the final list of applications accepted for the draw will be published by 5 pm on April 9, 2021.

The lottery will be declared on April 16 at 11 am at PCNTDA office in Akurdi. The names of the successful and waiting list applicants in the draw will be published on the website of the Authority.

The flats will be categorized as follows for the low-income group and economically weaker sections respectively.

 General – 1176-2487,

Scheduled Castes – 172-365,

Scheduled Tribes – 94-199,

Vimukt Jaati – 23-50,

Nomadic Tribes – 23-50

Divyang – 78-166.

For filling online application help desks have been set-up in 23 branches of HDFC Bank in Pimpri Chinchwad municipal corporation (PCMC) area as well as at the old office of PCNTDA at Peth no. 24, Lokmanya Tilak Chowk, Nigdi, Pune. The list of HDFC Banks will be available in Appendix 3 of the Information Book on the Authority’s website www.pcntda.org.in.
