Pimpri, October 19, 2020: On the occasion of World Blind Day, Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissioner Krishna Prakash attended a function wearing a blindfold and with the help of a stick, to understand the agony of the blind and feel their pain.
Prerna Association for the Blind and Jito Pimpri Chinchwad, organized a special program ‘Chalo Kisika Sahara Bane’ at Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissionerate.
He appreciated the help given to the underprivileged sections of the society and said that it would enhance the image of the police department.
Sharing his thoughts in the function, he advised blind people who dream of a brighter future to reach the pinnacle of success by pursuing bigger dreams without giving up.
The photos of Krishna Prakash at the function became viral on social media. This style and work of the Police Commissioner were appreciated not only in Pimpri-Chinchwad but in the entire district and state.
Retweeting these photos, state Home Minister Anil Deshmukh praised Police Commissioner Krishna Prakash.
Meanwhile, the blind students greeted him with a round of applause. The commissioner gave a helping hand to the underprivileged and bestowed them a mantra to become self-reliant.
