Pimpri Chinchwad Police Launches ‘Police Samaritan’ Helpline To Assist People

Pimpri, 12th May 2021: Due to Covid-19 cases, people are facing immense problems everyday. To help them in finding the solution, Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissioner Krishna Prakash has started ‘Police samaritan helpline’ with the help of Mahasetu Solutions LLP and Global Human Organisation.

This helpline will be activated from May 15. The residents of Pimpri Chinchwad can call up this helpline number for knowing more about Covid Appropriate Behaviour, social distancing, use of face mask.

Similarly, the residents can post their complaints regarding the functioning of the hotels or restaurants which are supposed to be closed yet are open. Police will take appropriate action against them.

Likewise, residents can seek help if the ambulance drivers are charging exorbitant charges, black marketing of Remdesivir and other drugs.

Complaints regarding exorbitant hospital bills can be lodged with the bill and accounts department, Pimpri Chinchwad municipal corporation. Complaints regarding fake e-passes for inter-district or inter-state journey or giving fake reports for RT PCR-Rapid antigen reports can also be lodged. Such laboratories will face legal actions.

Residents can also seek help if the entire family is Covid-19 positive and need daily grocery, vegetables or medicines or if a child has become an orphan and there is no one to look after him/her.
