Pimpri Chinchwad: Two-wheelers set on fire after a fight between two friends over money

Pimpri-Chinchwad, January 14, 2021: Nine two-wheelers and a bicycle were burnt to ashes due to dispute over money transaction between two friends. The incident took place in Keshavnagar, Chinchwad, on Tuesday midnight.

Rohit Ravindra Kanse (23) has lodged a complaint and accordingly Rituraj Bhairav Singh Ghorpade has been arrested by the police.

According to police, accused Rituraj and complainant Rohit both live in the same place. The two are friends and had bought a camera worth Rs 15 lakh by taking a loan. It was decided that both of them would pay the instalments. However, the complainant did not pay, and a few months later the camera was sold with the consent of both.

However, the complainant did not contribute the money equally. Out of this anger, accused Rituraj jumped from the security wall in the middle of the night and set fire to the complainant’s two-wheeler parked in the society. However, other two-wheelers also caught fire. The accused has been taken into custody in the case.
