Pimpri: Engineer dies by suicide after leaving a WhatsApp status
Pimpri, July 9, 2020: A young engineer died by suicide in a housing society near Spine Road, Moshi. He left a WhatsApp status before dying asking readers to take care of his parents and sister.
The demised, Akshay Anil Potdar (25), was originally from Wai, Satara. As per the information provided by the police, he was working at a company in Chikhli.
On Wednesday afternoon, Potdar asked for the keys to the terrace of his building in his society. When the security guard refused, he got access to the terrace under the pretext of working in the society. He jumped from the 11th floor.
The reason behind the suicide was still unknown until late night on Wednesday. Police Sub-Inspector Amardeep Pujari of MIDC Bhosari police station is investigating the case.
