Pimpri youth killed after birthday celebration of friend

Pune – A 25-year-old youth from Pimpri who had left home for birthday celebration of a friend on Tuesday, was found murdered on Friday morning.

Police said that the accused person believed that he had been helping a girl who has filed molestation case against the accused due to which he had to go to jail.

Police have identified the deceased as Aditya Khot. His body was found around 8.30 am near Nandegaon hills near Symbiosis college (Lavale) road.

According to police, Khot had left home on Tuesday night for birthday celebration of a friend at Subhasnagar ghat in Pimpri. From there he was forcefully taken on bike for ‘birthday party’ to the hills and murdered with sharp weapons.

Police said that Khot’s mother had lodged a missing complaint with Pimpri police station as he had not come home even after two days.

Now investigation by Paud police station has revealed that Khot was murdered Monu Tak and his accomplices Jatin Mewati and others
