Plantation in the Raj Bhawan at the Hands of  Governor and  Chief Minister on Environment Day

Mumbai, June 5 – On the occasion of the Environment Day, Governor C. Vidyasagar Rao and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis planted trees in the Raj Bhawan.

Forest Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar, Shree Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev of Isha Foundation, Chief Secretary to Governor Venugopal Reddy, Principal Secretary Forest Department Vikas Kharge also planted trees on the occasion.

The Tree Plantation Programme was organized as joint venture by the Forest Department of Maharashtra Government and Dr. Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari Pratishthan, under Tree Plantation and Conservation Campaign. On this occasion 300 saplings of various varieties were planted in the Raj Bhawan. The dignitaries visited the seashore of Raj Bhawan and inspected the tree riches there.
