PMC Implements Revised Fees for Advertisement Boards in Pune
Pune, 2nd November 2023: The Sky Sign and License Department of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has decided to revise the fees for advertisement boards (hoardings). The department has implemented new rates in line with the Billboard Laws and Regulation, distinguishing between the old municipal limits and the new limits established after 2017, which include 34 additional villages.
For the old municipal limits, the fee structure is set at Rs 580 per sq ft for the first year, Rs 640 per sq ft for the second year, and Rs 700 per sq ft for the third year. Conversely, the rates for the newly included areas post-2017, encompassing the 34 villages, are fixed at Rs 290 for the first year, Rs 320 for the second year, and Rs 350 per sq ft for the third year.
Madhav Jagtap, Deputy Commissioner of the Sky Sign and License Department, highlighted that the department has approved the provision of online services for new permits and the renewal of billboard licenses. This move aims to streamline the application process and enhance efficiency in managing advertisement boards within the PMC jurisdiction.
