PMPML director felicitates a bus driver who saved 53 lives

Pune, January 30, 2019 : Hanumant Narawade, a PMPML driver who saved 53 lives after a break-fail accident was felicitated by Siddharth Shirole, Director, PMPML, for his efficiency andpresence of mind.

Shirole also awarded the driver Rs. 5 thousand cash reward. In an incident happened last week, Narawade was driving a PMPML bus (Bus No. 1587) on the rout Shanivarwada to Narhe Gaon. When he was returning from Narhe Gaon, the breaks of the vehicle accidently failed.  Narawade kept calm and very efficiently stopped the bus avoiding any harm to the passengers or other people on the road. Recognizing his achievement, Siddharth Shirole, Director, PMPML felicitated him today.

Babul Netke, Rajendra Kharade, Nuruddin Inamdar, Jawed Tamboli, Sagar Kamble, Laxman Kumbhar, Pandharinath Gangurde, Deepak Pingale, Asif Zaari were present among the dignitaries.
