PMRDA’s first regional office comes up in Wagholi

Pune – District guardian minister Girish Bapat on Saturday inaugurated the first regional office of the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) at Wagholi.

Shirur MLA Baburao Pacharne, Sarpanch Vasundhara Ubale, former Zilla Parishad member Rambhau Dabhade, BJP Taluka president Rohidas Udre, district vice president Ganesh Kute, additional commissioner of PMRA Pravin Devre, superintending engineer Milind Bogale and executive engineer Bharat Kumar Baviskar were also present.

Bapat said that this office is been started to convenience of people. The main objective is to reduce number of visits people have to make to PMRDA office in Aundh, Pune. He also gave instructions to the officials to note down all word done everyday.

PMRDA commissioner Kiran Gite has the intention to set up three more offices soon in the areas that comprise of nine talukas which have been included in PMRDA. Now people from Haveli and Shirur talukas will not have to go to PMRDA’s Aundh office for permission for construction work and zone certificates. It’s going to help save the time of citizens. For this purpose, regional office has been started in Wagholi. Enough manpower will be made available to this office. Maps have been put up for citizens’ information.
