President of India Condoles the Loss of Lives in Landslides in Arunachal Pradesh

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has written to the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh conveying his condolences on the loss of lives in landslides triggered by heavy rains yesterday in Arunachal Pradesh.

In his message, the President said that he was deeply saddened that the landslides triggered by heavy rains yesterday in Arunachal Pradesh caused loss of lives, injuries and damage to property. He called upon the State Government and other authorities to provide all possible aid to the bereaved families who have lost their near and dear ones as well as medical assistance to the injured.
