Prime Academy Delivers Exceptional JEE Advanced 2025 Results with High IIT Admission Rate

Pune, 02 May 2025: Prime Academy Pune has once again demonstrated its excellence in IIT JEE preparation and this time, with a bang. In IIT JEE, where the national success ratio is less than 2%, over 27% of the students mentored by Prime Academy managed to crack what is arguably the world’s toughest exam. Cracking JEE Advanced requires a highly customized training program, which Prime Academy Pune seems to have mastered.
JEE Advanced 2025: A Challenging Exam
The JEE Advanced 2025 examination, held on May 18, 2025, was conducted in two shifts. Experts found Chemistry to be the easiest section, Physics moderately difficult, and Mathematics the most challenging.
This year’s cutoff dropped drastically to 74, compared to 109 in JEE 2024, primarily due to the high proportion of numerical value-type questions, which accounted for almost 47% of the paper. Even a minor mistake led to zero marks. Unlike multiple-choice questions, where options provide some guidance, these numerical questions demanded absolute precision.
Prime Academy’s Success
From Prime Academy, out of 190 students, 120 cleared JEE Mains and advanced to JEE Advanced, with more than 52 successfully clearing JEE Advanced — an impressive success ratio. Notably, 17 of these were outstation students who enrolled in Prime Academy Pune’s online coaching program.
Madhura, one of the successful students from Prime Academy, expressed her gratitude for the academy’s guidance. “In such a low-scoring paper, the key was to stay calm and composed. Lalit Sir kept emphasizing the importance of the right strategy, especially shifting gears during the exam. Despite small batches, many of my classmates cleared JEE Advanced. A key factor was the consistent guidance from the same team of teachers at Prime Academy Pune throughout the two-year course. They supported us not only academically but also helped us manage stress through one-on-one interactions.”
As the low cutoff marks clearly indicate, JEE Advanced 2025 was not just tough — it was conceptually deep and demanded a high cognitive load. Success wasn’t just about knowing concepts; it was about thinking clearly under pressure, applying fundamentals creatively, and navigating unfamiliar problem statements.
This is where Prime Academy students stood apart.
While many students across the country focused only on conceptual preparation, Prime Academy’s students were trained to handle both the conceptual rigor and the mental complexity the exam demanded. Thanks to a faculty team with over 20 years of experience in nurturing analytical and problem-solving skills, our students were strategically prepared for this exact kind of challenge.
Prime Academy not only teach concepts — but also build cognitive thinkers. Over the years, the faculty team has successfully cracked a strategy that empowers students to excel even in the most unpredictable and intellectually demanding exams.
Focused Strategy and Stress Management
Lalit Kumar, Founder of Prime Academy, highlighted the importance of maintaining a focused approach during the JEE preparation journey. “While securing admission is a great achievement, the greater benefit lies in the preparation itself. JEE coaching helps develop analytical thinking, stress management, and a deep understanding of core subjects like Maths and Science — skills that will serve our students long after they leave our classrooms.”
CSR Initiative Success
Prime Academy has also been instrumental in providing quality education to socio-economically disadvantaged students through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. Out of 15 students under this program, 5 have successfully qualified for admission to IITs — a significant milestone for the academy.
