Prime Video and Excel Entertainment Announce Mirzapur Season 3 Premiere Date

Mumbai, 11th June 2024: Prime Video and Excel Entertainment, helmed by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, have officially set the premiere date for the eagerly awaited third season of Mirzapur. The critically acclaimed series, which delves into themes of power, revenge, ambition, and complex family dynamics, will begin streaming on July 5, 2024.

The announcement puts an end to the long-standing speculation surrounding the series’ return, marked by the popular hashtag #MS3W (Mirzapur Season 3 When). Fans, who have been eagerly anticipating the show’s return, can now mark their calendars for the new season. Season 3 promises to elevate the stakes, expanding the story’s scope while maintaining its core theme of a ruthless battle for dominance in the fictional world of Mirzapur. The central question remains: who will claim the coveted throne?

Produced and created by Excel Media and Entertainment, the series is directed by Gurmmeet Singh and Anand Iyer. The cast includes Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Rasika Dugal, Vijay Varma, Isha Talwar, Anjum Sharma, Priyanshu Painyuli, Harshita Shekhar Gaur, Rajesh Tailang, Sheeba Chadha, Meghna Malik, and Manu Rishi Chadha. Mirzapur Season 3, consisting of ten episodes, will be available exclusively on Prime Video in India and across 240 countries and territories worldwide.
