Pune: 10 MBBS Doctors Appointed For COVID Care Centres In Rural Areas On First Day Of Recruitment
Pune, 21 April 2021: For a better treatment of patients in the rural areas of the Pune district, 10 MBBS doctors were appointed on Tuesday. Each of them will be paid a salary of Rs 90,000 per month.
Despite the advertisement for Covid Care Center, Covid Hospital in rural areas, MBBS and MD doctors were not available. Two days ago, Zilla Parishad offered a salary of Rs 90,000 for an MBBS doctor and Rs 1.5 lakh for an MD doctor. After advertising in 12 states, 30 MBBS doctors responded on the first day.
Ten MBBS doctors showed readiness to attend immediately and were given an appointment letter in the evening. The appointment of these doctors is for the next three months, the recruitment of these doctors will continue for two more days as announced in the advertisement. Doctors who meet the qualifications will be given appointment letters immediately, said Zilla Parishad president Nirmala Pansare and health chairperson Pramod Kakade.
Chief Executive Officer Ayush Prasad had for the first time advertised doctor recruitment in twelve states along with Maharashtra. All the doctors are from Maharashtra and some doctors from other states have also been contacted.
