Pune: 14th Yellow Ribbon NGOs, Artisans And Farmers Fair By Ishanya Foundation Is Back In Its Physical Avatar

Pune, 6th October 2021: Pune’s annual festive exhibition with a cause is back for its 14th edition. Yes, the 14th Yellow Ribbon NGO Fair is back in its physical avatar this year at Creaticity (formerly Ishanya Mall), Yerwada, Pune.

This bright and cheerful fair marks the beginning of festive shopping in Pune. This year, the Fair organisers have taken all precautions in view of the present times. Four points are highlighted by the organisers

· The fair location is a well-ventilated non-AC exhibition area at the main foyer hence giving plenty of fresh air and open spaces.

· There will be around 35 stalls which are well-spaced out and providing adequate social distance.

· All exhibitors are double vaccinated and valid certificates are checked prior to the fair and

· All norms as laid out by local authorities pertaining to sanitised spaces, face masks and social distance are being maintained in Creaticity.

The naturally green surroundings, open areas and norms and regular surface and product sanitization ensure that the fair is absolutely safe and pleasant. Over 35 NGO exhibitors, farmers and artisans from Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan are showcasing their work physically at this sprawling, hygienic and well-ventilated venue at Creaticity.

Plenty of interesting products are on display this year, very unlike the mass products that one would find online – From Eco friendly Diyas to Exquisite Terracota, Dry Fruits, Organic Pulses, Organic Turmeric, Honey, Festive Décor to Beaded Jewellery, Handmade Gifting to Handwoven fabrics and much more, it is a fair for the family to visit during this festive period.

More attractions at the fair will be organic honey like Kashmiri multi floral, tulsi, neem ajwain, Sheesham honey from Phogat Bee Aphiary from Haryana. MaaKamakhaya from Himachal Pradesh will be selling dry fruits, walnuts, badam, anjeer, Manuka, Haldi, Dry plum, Organic Apples and Mango powder. Ram Rahim SHG is having different types of haldi like Sangli, Selam, Rajapuri which we all know is what people are looking out for increasing their immunity. Maruldhara NGO from Rajasthan will be displaying the appliqué work and Ajrak Work.

Apart from all the above, the fair will have NGOs who are making different kinds of eco-friendly diyas, lanterns, gifting items, jute bags, home décor , hand pound masalas, ladoos, and much more..

While inaugurating this year’s fair, Managing Trustee, Ishanya Foundation Parul Mehta expressed her admiration of the NGOs for their craft and commitment towards the various social cause they are associated with and invited people from all walks of Pune to support these NGOs especially in the present times, in her own words she said “Let us bring illumination into our homes and more importantly loads of Khushiyaan with them, in these extraordinary times.”

The fair is open from 11.30 am to 9 pm from Friday 8th to Monday 11th Oct 2021.
