Pune: 195 Bullet Riders Made To Pay Rs 2 Lakh Fine For Noise Pollution

Pimpri-Chinchwad, 15th November 2022: Pimpri-Chinchwad traffic police will take action on Bullet motorcycle silencers making noise.

 

On Friday (November 11), the action was taken against 195 bullet riders by conducting a special campaign. A fine of Rs Rs 1,99,500 was imposed on these drivers who made noise by changing the silencer. The action was taken by the Pimpri-Chinchwad traffic police department.

 

Various measures are being taken by the administration to keep noise pollution under control in the city. For this, Pimpri-Chinchwad police have also imposed restrictions on the DJs and bursting of firecrackers.

 

 

Action is being taken against such unruly bullet riders. Even during Diwali, major action was taken against such bullet riders. After that, the traffic police managed the bullet riders again by conducting a special campaign.

 

Some people modify the original appearance of the vehicle while decorating the two-wheelers and four-wheelers. For this, some parts are modified. It changes the basic structure of the vehicle. As a result, noise and air pollution can occur. Therefore, altering the original design of the vehicle is an offence under the law and these owners are arrested by the police.
